The bugs have gone up in class, from Times Square to Toronto
Showing a picture of an actual bedbug is too terrifying

Well, at least it wasn’t in New York.
On Monday, Cameron Bailey, co-director of the Toronto International Film Festival tweeted: “Before bedbugs becomes today’s meme: we’re on it, we’re talking to Cineplex & are planning for an itch-free #TIFF10.” Earlier today, Bailey followed that up with “No bedbugs in TIFF theatre, Cineplex confirms.”
Phew. Festival-goers should be able to watch Erotic Man without worrying about bedbugs.
In just the past two months, we’ve heard about bedbugs in a Times Square AMC, the offices of Elle, Hollistar, Rikers Island, public libraries and the Empire State Building—and that’s just in NYC. Oh, and the AIDS virus can’t kill them, making them basically unstoppable. But hey, now they’re Toronto’s problem!
