There’s nothing quite as humbling as declaring yourself an expert on a certain subject—and then failing completely. In this case, it’s the Emmys, which aired last night. It was a good awards show, which is probably the worst kind to have; you’re neither marveled at its brilliance or awed by its awfulness. It was just fine. Kind of like how I did with picking the comedy winners. Drama, on the other hand, I did worse than whoever chose January Jones’ dress (too soon?).
