Never Enough Sondheim for Bernadette Peters
She will appear in the Kennedy Center for Performing Arts production of Follies

Bernadette Peters is currently performing as Desirée Armfeldt in Stephen Sondheim’s A Little Night Music. But that’s not enough Sondheim for Peters, as she will also soon play Sally Durant Plummer in the Kennedy Center for Performing Arts production of Follies, a musical that first opened in 1971 and ran for 522 performances.
Follies, about a group of showgirls who reunite in a rundown theater they used to perform in, will be directed by Eric Schaeffer with choreography by Warren Carlyle (Finian’s Rainbow). The musical will run from May 7-June 5, 2011 at the Eisenhower Theater in Washington, D.C.
