It’s easier to let the press release explain this one:

Seven dancers perched on a wall and wrapped in sculptural beeswax and lanolin costumes are slowly melting away, progressing in euphoria and exhaustion as if approaching the sun, melting until their souls escape their ephemeral bodies and disintegrate into light.

It’s called “Melt,” and it’s produced by Sens Production with choreography by Noémie Lafrance and score by Erin McGoningle. The dancers—Elizabeth Wilkinson, Mare Hieronimus, Teresa Kochis, Celeste Hastings, Ori Lenkinski, Adi Kfir, Meghan Merril, Marcy Schlissel—can be found at The Salt Pile, on the corner of Pike Slip and South Street in Lower Manhattan, from August 25-29, Sept. 2-5 and 9-12.

Tickets to see the melting dancers can be purchased here, along with more information.
