Get ready for lots of sore arms tomorrow when the “Volkswagen Traffic Jam” drives on to Governors Island (by way of the ferry, of course). There will be VW buses, dune buggies, vans and, yes, Beetles, affectionately known as Punch Buggies. The free event takes place at Picnic Point on the Island from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. tomorrow, August 22.

Along with spectators being able to pick their favorite VWs in a variety of categories, including “Bus” and “Types 3/4,” the Traffic Jam will also have live music and a picnic with food and drink available (although you’re welcome to bring your own, just no alcohol).
