Paul Dano to Star in A Free Man of Color

In Encore‘s August issue, we asked Paul Dano whether he would soon return to the theater, where he once worked with George C. Scott in Inherit the Wind. Now we have our answer.
Dano will co-star with Mos Def and Jeffrey Wright in John Guare’s A Free Man of Color. The play, presented by Lincoln Center Theater, will be directed by George C. Wolfe and begins previews on October 21 at the Vivan Beaumont Theater, with an official opening night set for November 18. Peter Bartlett, Veanne Cox, Sara Gettelfinger, Arnie Burton and Reg Rogers also appear in the play.
