The Off-Broadway play Trust, a dark comedy written by Paul Weitz and directed by Peter DuBois, is currently running in previews, and officially opens Thursday, August 12 at the Second Stage Theatre (305 W. 43rd St.). It stars Bobby Cannavale, Sutton Foster, Ari Graynor and Zach Braff, best known for playing J.D. on NBC’s Scrubs.
Although Braff has previously performed in the theater, including a role in Godspell at the world-famous Stagedoor Manor, no one would think of his thespian career before remembering “Guy Love” or World’s Tallest Doctor.
