Michael McKean, who has played everyone from a lead singer in a fake band to a real estate developer who tries to kick the Brady family out of their home, will return to the role of the Stage Manager in Off-Broadway’s Our Town beginning today, August 3. He appeared in the play earlier this year as the same character and now takes over for Helen Hunt until August 22, when David Cromer will become the Stage Manager. McKean has a long history with theater, including roles in Hairspray and Superior Donuts.
Our Town, written by Thornton Wilder in 1937, ends its run at the Barrow Street Theatre on September 12.
