Have you not found the time to stand in line for 12 hours to see The Merchant of Venice at Shakespeare in the Park? Lucky for you, the show’s coming to Broadway in the fall with Al Pacino continuing his role as Shylock—although it’ll probably cost a bit more than the show’s current free admission.

Earlier today, the Public Theater said they’d bring the Central Park show to the Broadhurst Theater from October 19-January 9. According to Dave Itzkoff of the New York Times, who spoke with the play director’s, Daniel Sullivan, most of the cast will remain on-board, although Jesse Tyler Ferguson, who plays Launcelot Gobbo, will return to ABC’s Modern Family.

If this keeps Pacino from making another film like Righteous Kill, Encore is all for it.
