If you feel no shame in knowing the Super Mario Bros. theme song (although, at this point, who doesn’t?), you’ll want to head to The Brick Theater tonight for “Chiptunes Dance Party,” part of the ongoing Game Play: A Celebration of Video Game Performance Art.

I’m pretty sure only the diehard video game fans are still reading this post after that first sentence, so let’s ditch the formalities: For only $5, you can party to the best of ‘80s and 90’s video game-inspired Chiptunes. There will also be video-game projections, playable classic video game consoles and DJ steps by Chiptune artists, sylcmyk, goferboy and Oxygenstar.

The fun begins at 11 p.m. at The Brick (575 Metropolitan Ave.) and tickets can be purchased here.

Here’s hoping for some Mortal Kombat love.
