With the out-all-night innocent recklessness of 200 Cigarettes and the music aficionado feel of High Fidelity, Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist (starring Michael Cera of Juno and Superbad; and Kat Dennings of The 40 Year Old Virgin) will strike a chord with anyone who has spent endless hours at a punk club, painstakingly making mix tapes or worshipping an indie rock band the way only someone under the age of 25 can.

The movie follows Nick and Norah on a night-long search—through set locations including Manhattan’s infamously hip Don Hills and Williamsburg’s always-crowded Union Pool—for a secret show by their favorite band, Where’s Fluffy. The pair encounter misadventure at every turn: from losing Norah’s drunk friend to an exercise in songwriting. Nick and Norah’s memorable night looks to be a young, earnest and fresh take on a familiar genre.
