A smart babe who talks about video games for a living and enjoys dressing up as Princess Leia? Yup, perfect woman—and she’s reading from her book (oh yeah, she’s a writer too) tonight.

Of course I’m talking about the one and only Olivia Munn, co-host of Attack of the Show!/senior Asian correspondent on The Daily Show/author of Suck It, Wonder Woman!: The Misadventures of a Hollywood Geek. I could go on with her accomplishments, including being Maxim‘s eighth hottest woman in 2010, but, c’mon, I don’t need to feel any worse about my resume.

What separates Munn from most actresses is how accessible she is. She updates her website constantly, answers questions from fans and seems to realize her nerdy sexy crossover appeal without coming across as too nerdy or forced sexy (in a “California Gurls” kind of way).

According to Munn, Hollywood Geek is “a David Sedaris-type book with a collection of stories from my life. From finding my first agent in LA (which ended with me staring at a collection of his girlfriend’s vagina) to dressing up as superheroes to my 8th grade boyfriend who had turrets.” She also personally the book’s fan art.

Olivia Munn will read from Hollywood Geek at the Time Warner Center’s Borders (10 Columbus Circle) at 7 p.m tonight. No word on whether she’ll come dressed as Wonder Woman, Princess Leia or, my personal choice, Seven of Nine. Or she might just come as a regular person, which is probably for the best. I doubt Borders wants a Star Wars fanboy-induced riot on their hands.

Suck It, Wonder Woman!: The Misadventures of a Hollywood Geek can be purchased here for the odd price of $16.19
