Fall/Winter Getaway In The Hamptons
Last month in the middle of fall foliage, I had the urge to get out of the city for the weekend. But instead of going for the traditional Vermont change-of-colors weekend, I hopped the train to the Hamptons.
Gone were the screaming kids and dogs running up and down the aisles. The streets were quiet and you actually received a little personal attention in the stores.
But my greatest find, was the newly owned and renovated Maidstone Hotel.
